We're organizing shuttle bus transportation from Fiumicino airport to the hotels on October 3rd and to Fiumicino airport on October 5th, based on participants requests, as well as pick-up service from hotels to LNGS  and back on the workshop days. Participants are asked to make their reservation on the registration form.

Here below you can find some directions on how to reach LNGS (Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso).

PLANE
The closest airports are Rome - Fiumicino and Pescara.

CAR
The laboratory is located near the Assergi exit of the A24 Teramo-Rome. If driving from Rome, A24 can be reached via the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA), following directions to Teramo or L'Aquila. If driving along the A14 on the eastern coast, take the Giulianova/Teramo exit, then follow directions to A24.

BUS
From Rome to L'Aquila and Teramo. There are many daily ARPA buses from Rome, Giulianova and Pescara to L'Aquila and Teramo. Rome bus station is right in front of the Tiburtina railway station, that can be reached both from Termini main railway station (underground) and from Fiumicino Airport (train every 20 minutes). The ARPA bus from Giulianova leaves from the railway station square and bus from Pescara leaves from the big square in front of the main railway station. In L'Aquila the bus terminal is located in Collemaggio Terminal Bus, Viale Giacomo Caldora. You can check timetable and further information here. Please note that seats are numbered. Anyway you can easily buy tickets at the ticket office located at every bus station or you can buy tickets online on the ARPA website.
